Hard to believe it's been 40 years since landing on the moon. I still remember it so clearly. It was by far the greatest achievement of mankind. I found this spectacular batch of pictures of the mission on the Boston Globe website.How 'bout our weather this weekend. Record-breaking cool and very mild afternoons. We did see a sprinkle of rain Sunday afternoon. I'll take 80s and 60s any Summer.
One final note - too bad for Tom Watson. So close....still a great achievement for a 59 year old.
